The scale compares the named dimensions. View direction and measurement points are given for each animal.
The Myanmar snub-nosed monkey has a short, strongly upturned nose and an almost bare, pale face. It lives in mountain forests along the Myanmar–China border. In the canopy it climbs, walks on all fours and leaps between supports. It eats leaves, fruit, lichens and other plant parts in seasonally varying proportions.
The species was scientifically described only in the 21st century. Terrain and its small range make fieldwork difficult. Hunting, logging and roads may separate surviving groups.
55,5 cm długości głowy i tułowia · pomiar dorosłego samca będącego holotypem, przywołany w publikacji o ruchu gatunku (2022) za Geissmann i in. (2011).
