The scale compares the named dimensions. View direction and measurement points are given for each animal.
The roan antelope is a large bovid of lightly wooded savannas with access to water. It has a grey-russet coat, a short upright mane, long ears and a contrasting facial mask. It is paler and usually taller than its close relative, the sable antelope.
It eats grasses, leaves and shoots. It lives in herds, and mature males may defend the area around a group. Access to water and grassy feeding grounds influences movement routes.
