The scale compares the named dimensions. View direction and measurement points are given for each animal.
The brown long-eared bat has very large ears and soft brownish fur. It occurs in Europe and part of Asia, in forests, wooded areas and buildings. At night it catches insects in flight or gleans them from vegetation; when resting it can fold its ears, leaving the tragi visible.
It eats mainly moths but also catches other invertebrates. Its enlarged ears help detect the quiet sounds of invertebrate movements. It can hover to listen for prey among vegetation.
Females may remain associated with their natal roosts, while young males more often leave them. During the cold part of the year these bats hibernate, reducing energy use.

Przód przenosi ją przez przybliżoną głębokość głowy od sklepienia czaszki do podbródka, bez uszu i narośli nosowych. Nogi, skrzydła i wysokość pozy nie są podstawą przenoszenia skali.
