The scale compares the named dimensions. View direction and measurement points are given for each animal.
The Nubian ibex lives in dry mountains of northeastern Africa and the Middle East. Rocky slopes provide shelter, while it also obtains food and water in valleys. Watering-place distribution affects daily routes. Populations occupy isolated areas between which movement may be increasingly difficult.
It feeds on grasses, herbs, leaves and shoots, selecting plants according to seasonal availability. Females with young form groups, while males often remain separate outside mating. Competition changes herd organisation during breeding. The young remains in maternal care and soon follows her over uneven terrain.
Hunting, livestock competition and disturbed water access affect local herds. Conservation also includes passages between watering places, feeding grounds and cliffs.
Koziorożec nubijski żyje w suchych górach Afryki Północno-Wschodniej i Bliskiego Wschodu.
