Little brown bat — size comparison — facts and sources

The little brown bat has brown fur, small ears and relatively large hind feet. It inhabits North American forests and watersides. It locates insects in flight through echolocation.

It leaves its roost after dusk and may become active again before dawn. It limits daytime activity, and periods of reduced body temperature save energy. It hibernates during the cold season.

46–58 mm HB według Morgan i in. 2019; wybrano 52 mm = 5,2 cm ze środka zakresu.
