Iberian lynx — size comparison — facts and sources

The Iberian lynx is associated with a mosaic of Mediterranean scrub, clearings and other cover. Such surroundings combine concealment with access to prey.

The European rabbit is exceptionally important in its diet. It usually hunts alone through stalking and a short attack, occasionally taking other prey too.

Adults maintain home ranges that may partly overlap. Activity often falls at dusk and night but changes seasonally. Rabbit availability influences how it uses a locality.
