Grant’s gazelle — size comparison — facts and sources

Grant’s gazelle inhabits East Africa’s open savannas, using areas with access to shrubs and herbaceous vegetation.

It readily browses leaves and shoots, supplemented by other plants. This allows use of resources unavailable to exclusively grazing animals. Seasonal vegetation changes affect feeding places and methods.

Females may form groups, while some males form bachelor herds. Territorial males compete for females and favourable areas. Boundaries and group composition are not fixed.
