The scale compares the named dimensions. View direction and measurement points are given for each animal.
The golden-headed lion tamarin is associated with the Atlantic forests of eastern Brazil. It uses trees and dense vegetation that provide feeding sites, cover and resting retreats.
It eats fruit, insects and other small animals. When searching for prey it investigates crevices and clusters of plants on trees. Plant food is scattered, so the group moves between many sites.
It leads a diurnal, social life. Group members help care for the young. Its golden mane and dark body form a strong contrast, distinguishing it from the uniformly golden golden lion tamarin.
Poprawiono pysk i nasadę ogona; poprzednia oś omijała widoczne anatomiczne punkty. Punkt planszy nie jest średnią populacji, chyba że źródło podaje średnią. Przód jest przybliżoną projekcją.
