The scale compares the named dimensions. View direction and measurement points are given for each animal.
The white-lined gecko inhabits tropical Indonesia, New Guinea and neighbouring islands. Its most distinctive feature is a pale stripe that branches on the head and continues along the back.
It lives among trees and other vegetation, moving efficiently on vertical surfaces. Sheltered by day, it hunts insects, spiders and small invertebrates after dark. Expanded toes provide grip during climbing and prey capture.
Adults are approximately twenty-five centimetres long including the tail, which accounts for a substantial proportion. Females lay small clutches.
Mierzymy odcinek: pysk → koniec ogona. Źródłowe około 25 cm z ogonem, który stanowi blisko połowę długości. Wysokość postawy wynika z proporcji ilustracji. Przód jest przybliżoną projekcją.
