The scale compares the named dimensions. View direction and measurement points are given for each animal.
The East Caucasian tur (Capra cylindricornis) is a wild mountain goat of the eastern Caucasus. It inhabits rocky slopes, cliffs and high grasslands. Adult males have substantial bodies and large curved horns; females are slimmer with shorter horns.
It eats grasses, herbs and other plant parts available on slopes. Feeding grounds shift with season and snow cover. Nearby rocks allow movement between open pastures and less accessible resting places.
Group membership varies with sex and season. Outside breeding, males may stay apart from females and young. Agility on cliffs and hoof structure help avoid danger.
