The scale compares the named dimensions. View direction and measurement points are given for each animal.
The greater dwarf lemur is a nocturnal forest inhabitant. By day it hides in cavities or nests lined with leaves and other plant material. Night feeding may include fruit, flowers and nectar, supplemented by animal food.
During adverse periods it can reduce activity and enter torpor. Tail fat reserves help it survive seasonal shortages. It usually forages alone, although it may rest near other lemurs.
