Anyphaena accentuata lives on trees and shrubs, where its pale body with dark markings blends well with bark and leaves. Four distinctive spots are visible on the abdomen. Their contrast varies between individuals, and a female guarding eggs may become noticeably darker.
The spider searches for small invertebrates without a capture web. It moves through plants, using crevices and shelter between leaves. Silk is used to build a retreat.
