Iranian Sarabi — size comparison — facts and sources
The Sarabi, also called the Iranian or Persian Mastiff, is a strongly built guardian dog associated with Iran. It has a broad head, drop ears and a substantial working build. The name refers to a local dog population whose appearance and dimensions are not uniformly defined.
Available measurements come from small samples and do not establish a single range for the whole breed. This profile therefore uses a documented comparison point, with a separate mass sample and explicit data limitations. The Sarabi is not treated as another name for the Kangal, Alabai or Turkish Malaklı.
