Posavac — size comparison — facts and sources

The Posavac comes from the lowland Sava basin and is a medium-heavy draught horse. Broad, short and strong, it has a sure step and uses lower-quality forage efficiently. It is bred through programmes conserving local genetic resources.

Smaller size and a different breeding history distinguish it from the Croatian Coldblood.
