Florida Cracker Horse — size comparison — facts and sources

The Florida Cracker Horse descends from Iberian horses brought to Florida in the colonial period. For centuries it worked cattle across extensive pastures in a hot, humid climate. It is lightly built, agile and resilient.

Mechanisation and crossbreeding reduced its numbers, but breed organisations carry out conservation work.
