The scale compares the named dimensions. View direction and measurement points are given for each animal.
The Budyonny developed during the twentieth century by combining Don and Anglo-Don mares with Thoroughbreds. The aim was a strong, fast cavalry horse with endurance.
Today it retains an athletic outline, deep body, powerful hindquarters and clean limbs, with golden-chestnut colouring particularly recognisable. It can perform in showjumping, eventing and outdoor work.
