Lusotitan was a herbivorous sauropod of Late Jurassic Portugal. Initially treated as a Portuguese Brachiosaurus, it received its own genus name in 2003.
The name refers to Lusitania, an old regional name, and the mythological Titans. No skull has been found, so the head is reconstructed through comparisons with relatives.
