Camptosaurus was a herbivorous ornithopod of Late Jurassic North America. Camptosaurus dispar is known from deposits including Wyoming’s Morrison Formation.

The toothless front of its mouth formed a beak for cropping plants, while teeth farther back processed food. Historical genus accounts also included other forms that should not automatically be equated with this species.
