Sinraptor — size comparison — facts and sources

Sinraptor dongi was a large predatory theropod of Jurassic China. It had an elongated, toothed skull, powerful hind limbs and a long tail balancing its body.

Although its name may suggest small “raptors”, Sinraptor was not a dromaeosaurid. It belonged to another lineage of large carnivorous theropods. Preserved bones permit anatomical reconstruction, but colour and hunting details remain uncertain.
