Ouranosaurus — size comparison — facts and sources

Ouranosaurus was an Early Cretaceous herbivorous dinosaur of present-day Niger. Tall vertebral projections supported an extensive back structure usually shown as a sail. Its precise soft-tissue shape remains unknown.

It lived in a water-associated landscape also inhabited by fish, crocodylomorphs and carnivorous dinosaurs. Display and temperature regulation have been considered as functions of the back structure, but neither is conclusively established.
