Lambeosaurus lambei lived in Late Cretaceous North America. This herbivorous hadrosaurid had a crest with a broad front and narrower backward projection. Nasal passages ran inside the ornament.

Its name honours palaeontologist Lawrence Lambe. Comparisons of juveniles and adults corrected earlier classifications sometimes treating growth stages as separate forms. The crest probably contributed to communication.
