Jobaria — size comparison — facts and sources

Jobaria was a huge sauropod from Niger, known from a skull and several skeletons. Its substantial body rested on four powerful limbs. Compared with the longest-necked sauropods, its reconstructed neck is relatively short and its body notably heavy.

The Tiourarén Formation was initially dated to the Cretaceous, but later work indicates the Jurassic. It ate plants; dietary details are unknown.
