Eoraptor — size comparison — facts and sources
Eoraptor was a small bipedal dinosaur of Late Triassic Argentine river environments, where dinosaurs formed only part of a much more diverse fauna. It probably used varied food resources, although the proportions of plants and small animals remain debated.
Ischigualasto Formation remains helped investigate dinosaur origins. Named in 1993, later analyses changed assessments of its evolutionary position. It is now often assigned to early sauropodomorphs.
