Chilesaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur of Late Jurassic present-day Chile. Its unusual combination of anatomical features made it important in discussions of relationships between major dinosaur lineages. Herbivory is inferred from its teeth.

Seven-year-old Diego Suárez discovered the first finds in 2004, and the species was named for him. Chilesaurus diegosuarezi was described in 2015. Successive analyses have proposed different positions on the evolutionary tree.
