Corgipoo (Pembroke Welsh Corgi × Miniature Poodle) — size comparison — facts and sources

Corgipoo names a cross between a Welsh Corgi and a Poodle; this profile represents the Pembroke and Miniature Poodle combination. Offspring may have shorter legs and a long body but do not always retain Corgi proportions. The coat may be wavy, curly or straighter. Ear shape and muzzle length also vary.

The Pembroke descends from Welsh livestock-herding dogs. The Poodle has retrieving origins, although the miniature variety has long lived chiefly as a companion. Corgipoo is a modern term for their offspring. It is neither an official Poodle variety nor a longhaired version of the Corgi.

It may learn quickly, enjoy play and closely follow human activities. Some dogs react more strongly to movement and tend to sound the alarm; others focus more on direct contact with their person. These behaviours vary even within a litter, so the name alone does not describe a fixed set of traits.
