Toybob Shorthair — size comparison — facts and sources

The Toybob is a small, compact cat with strong muscles and a short tail containing several bent vertebrae. The body remains solid despite its size. Short tail and small stature create characteristic rounded proportions.

The breed developed mainly from local cats in Russia’s Rostov and Ural regions. Tail shortening involves a natural mutation. The name combines a reference to a small playful cat with a word for a short tail.

TICA describes it as attached to people, active and agile. It readily plays, explores and seeks familiar company.
