It is the longhaired member of Britain’s Asian group, associated with the Burmilla’s origins. It inherited long hair from the programme’s Persian ancestors. The similar-sounding Chantilly-Tiffany name concerns a different breeding history.

The Tiffanie usually takes a strong interest in people and readily maintains contact. It may play for long periods, investigate new objects and accompany household members, often choosing to rest immediately nearby.
