Ocicat Classic (Aztec) — size comparison — facts and sources

The Ocicat Classic has a strong, athletic body and short, glossy hair. Instead of the Ocicat’s characteristic spots it has a classic tabby pattern: broad flank whorls and a butterfly-like arrangement over the shoulder blades.

It comes from the same breeding as the spotted Ocicat, created from domestic cats. Within GCCF it replaced the former name Aztec. The chief difference concerns stripe arrangement, while basic body type and ancestry remain shared.

It is usually active, sociable and interested in shared play. It readily follows people, learns simple tasks and explores new objects with considerable agility.
