Minuet Shorthair — size comparison — facts and sources

The short-haired Minuet has a rounded head, strong body and dense, plush hair. Short-legged cats stand low, while normal-legged kittens also occur.

The breed combines Persian-group cats and Munchkins. Initially called Napoleon, it gained TICA championship status in 2016. Short legs result from the Munchkin-derived mutation affecting long-bone development and altering movement capabilities.

It is described as sociable, curious and interested in gentle play. It enjoys approaching people, investigating objects and tracking floor-level toys.
