The Dwelf is a small cat with shortened legs, nearly hairless skin and backward-curled ears. These traits come from combining the Sphynx, Munchkin and American Curl. Its name joins the English words dwarf and elf.
The line remains experimental without broad recognition by major feline organisations. Its ear curl comes from the American Curl and differs from the Scottish Fold’s folded ear trait.
Shortened limbs change movement capabilities, while a very limited coat affects skin protection and temperature maintenance. Combining these traits is an important part of its description; available breeding materials provide less firm grounds for assigning a uniform temperament.
