The Cheetoh is a muscular cat with short hair and distinct spots or rosettes. Breeders intend its body and pattern to evoke a wild cat’s appearance. Its name refers to the cheetah, but that species did not contribute to the programme.

The Cheetoh arose by mating Bengals with Ocicats. It is therefore a cross between domestic cat breeds rather than a direct hybrid with a wild cat. The programme remains small and has limited recognition from cat organisations.

Breeding accounts describe an active, athletic cat interested in people. It readily joins energetic play and explores new objects and places.
