Californian Rex — size comparison — facts and sources

The Californian Rex has a slender, muscular body, arched back, egg-shaped head and large ears. Semi-long hair forms soft waves and a delicate tail plume. A characteristic convex nasal bridge is visible in profile.

France’s LOOF treats it as a semi-longhaired variety of the Cornish Rex and permits interbreeding between the two. Their fundamental build and wavy coat structure remain shared; hair length is the chief distinction. Both varieties can compete fully in this organisation’s shows.
