Cerulean warbler — size comparison — facts and sources

The cerulean warbler lives in old deciduous forest crowns. High above ground it gathers caterpillars, beetles, flies and arachnids from leaves and thin branches.

On wintering grounds it joins mixed flocks, including tropical tanagers. The female weaves bark fibres, grasses and hairs into a nest, binding them with spider silk.
